Nonsense, so per this guys logic the party being lead by Mahama which is suppose to govern to protect the interest of the Ghanaian on the street who have no one materially for protection except the government who has in turn become a bringer of hardship to the masses should have been carried on the Shoulders of Mr. Rawlings whose only charm in the eyes of the masses is the protection of their interest, to maintain power to still exploit the masses. This man is no good. These are the sort of people Rawlings has been talking about. Greedy Bastards. I say Mahama and all these people should be wiped clean of the plate they should not be given any place near to the party. The Exploitation on the ticket of the NDC is too much it cant be borne anymore. And Mr. Smith Mr. Rawlings did well he knows how to read the season that is a spirit given of God up in heaven.

You're a sore loser, Now the truth of the matter is that, the NPP is quickly recognizing and rallying its support base, and the bad news for the criminal NDC. Anytime someone comes out with an ethnocentric based article like what jejune Baturi just churned, who wins? The NPP wins, remember when your NDC were busily sowing the seed of discord between the Akans and other minority ethnic groups, the NPP took an advantage to energize their support base. The Akan groups recognized that the NDC is totally anti Akan and decided to vote against them. When John Mahama was busily stuffing his appointees with non Akans, the NPP didn't make that a campaign issue because they realized how complicated that subject was, sensing that, such a move is subject to a backlash. So the NPP relied on other opposition parties like the NDP, PPP and the social commentators to do those dirty jobs. So now, the more pro NDC media outlets come up with such writings, the more it works for the NPP. So in short, Baturi is doing more harm to the NDC than good.

If NDC won the 2016 elections Rawlings would have lost his influence in NDC so he chose to support NPP to win so he can prove a point. Rawlings and his wife are now happy that NDC is in opposition they are waiting for the party to come and beg them to come and take control of the party as some people are suggesting and from there he will take control do whatever he likes with the party We must all remember that Rawlings was the then president but NDC lost the 2000 elections.Again NDC won 2012 elections without him so why are we to beg him now??

How is it that Rawlings is to blamed for the loss of the election? Is it Rawlings who cast all the against votes? Did HE Victor Smith complain about nepotism or the perception of it when he and two other siblings were appointed to high office in the Mahama government? Does he know how much that contributed to our loss of the elections? It is convenient for him to bite the hand that fed him and brought him to the national prominence now because he and others like him fail to see their own contribution to the defeat of the party at the polls. "Physician heal thyself!" Ghana is for all Ghanaians and to the extent that President Rawling, who is a known patriot, felt that he could not support the party's ticket (assuming) that were true, that was entirely within his prerogative and I bet it made no difference who else voted against the party. What really should be his concern is how to help rebuild the party if his declared intention of running for the flag bearer position is ti be realized. NDCs factions cannot afford to lose any faction and Mr. Smith ought to know that. Stop the finger pointing and do something positive to reunite the party. Next time, you can speak up if three people from the same family are appointed to high office. If for nothing at all, for the idea that it creates poor perception of the party in public. Little things like that are what lost us the election not President Rawlings' complaint that those kind of things were not good for the image of the party.
