I couldnt help myself watching the live video on this brutal killing of this young officer. Even if he was, eventhough he wasnt an armed robber the law shouldn't be taken into their hands as they did to this officer. Since the change of the regiem in Ghana in this year, there seem to be some open anarchy in the country which began with the acts of the socalled Invisible forces. Yes, there is an urgent need for the government to come up with a plan to deal with the armed robbers operating almost every region of the country,. Recently a group of Bishops called on the President Akufo Addo to use the services of Armed Forces to intensify and crush their operations , but nothing has been heard about his response which would be most welcomed by every Ghanaian .I strongly suggest that this video should be withdrawn from the internet as a sign respect for the officer and his family whilst those involved in this brutal act be arrested and brought to face the full provisions of the law . Mr. President , it seem to most of us that law and order is getting lost in the country, lets see more military patrols everywhere in the country to assure the citizens of their safety.Safety must be for all Ghanaians and not only for the politicians or those in power. This should be the goal.

Thank God for these cameras ,stuff like these are now in d open for d whole world to see, just like police brutality elsewhere .it has always been there ,d only thing different is d availability of these cell phone cameras. Similar thing happened in Accra about a fortnight ago where d person was killed. They occur frequently nationwide. I am surprised people sounding like they have not seen such a thing before. It is time to stop d blame game and hope it doesn't happen again, maybe his death will serve as a poster boy or an ambassador who will put an end to this barbaric behaviour. My condolences to the family - and great sadness for the people of Ghana with such cultural problems. There is no point in blaming politicians. However, certain villages in Ghana, do urgently require a permanent police presence. This is the lesson here.....a strong message to the government....a serious avenue for taxation revenue is policing.

Whether, the fallen-murdered soldier was a nephew of Mahama, does he deserved the way he died? He was qualified to be where he was before he died. I am an NPP supporter and I have seen many negative comments about this case. We are all Ghanaians and a lot of foreigners know us as well cultured and very smart people. Now these accolades seem to be dissipating in a very fast mode. Now,I have seen and known how bad some of us are and it is not looking very good for the future of this country. Over 90% bad comments so far.

Nana Akufo Addo and his henchmen must face retributive justice by the military.
To uphold national security, Nana Akufo Addo and NPP must face retributive justice by the military. National security is a measurable state of the capability of a nation to overcome the multi-dimensional threats to the apparent well-being of its people and its survival as a nation-state at any given time, by balancing all instruments of state policy through governance. As Ghanaians have decided to take a common direction to promote national development others thugs collectively known as NPP sympathizers with savage mentality strategized to create post electoral chaos since the election, attacking citizens who do not share their views, either robbing them of their properties, and cruelly lynching and slaughtering law enforcing personnels like Captain Maxwell Adam Mahama; just because they grabbed power through the lies of Nana Akufo Addo and his “all die be die” strategy and 419 schemes.

Following the official declaration of the last presidential electoral results, Nana Akufo Addo through his NPP thugs has been engaged in acts of terrorism and sabotage of the State and undermining personal security the citizens of Ghana. Security threats involve not only conventional foes such as other nation-states but also violent non-state actors; and it is sad to state here that in the case of Ghana, NPP can be categorized as non-state violent political group. National security is best described as a capacity to control those domestic and foreign conditions that the public opinion of a given community believes necessary to enjoy its own self-determination, prosperity and wellbeing.

It is time that Nana becomes aware that national security is the protection of citizens and territory from physical attacks which are considered as essential to the fundamental values and the vitality of the State. In other words, national security is the ability of Government to preserve the nation's physical integrity and territory, to maintain the survival of the State through the use of appropriate legal power to contain threats by using counterintelligence services to protect the nation from internal threats from NPP. Nana must also be aware that political security is about the stability of the social order. National security is also a blend of political resilience and maturity; and in this post-election era in Ghana, upon all the provocations from the main losing party NPP, Ghanaians from different political walks appear to uphold resilience, maturity and political security by not reacting to the provocation.

The comportment of Akufo Addo and that of his thugs is a threat to national security, thus retributive justice must be applied by the military in order to send a message to Nana that they should not repeat those violent behaviors again. When a chronic offender like Nana Akufo Addo breaks the law, he thereby forfeits his right to play key role in Ghana politics, and justice requires that he is arrested by the military and punished accordingly and that his NPP party must be classified as a non-state actor that undermines national security, so it must be banned definitely from Ghana politics or at least be classified as such. The classical definition of retributive justice embraces the idea that the amount of punishment must be proportionate to the amount of harm caused by the offence. An alternative to retributive justice consists of declaring the transgressor NPP and Akufo Addo as an outlawed gang which we can no more tolerate in Ghana.
