You look at a country like ghana for independence over 60yrs and yet still we don't have good roads, neat public toilets, flooding every year in the capital cities ,snd yet still people still from the same country they suppose to build. When i was schooling i used to admire politicians because i thought they have good intentions about their country,like Kwame Nkrumah,Seikou Toure,Juliius Nyelele,Mandela'S etc.but now i even get angry when i see a Ghanaian politician why.
How can you allowed people to steal from you own home when you can't help build the house and untop of the you pay them every month from the same people you are looting from.
Our brother's northern are hard workers go migrate to the middle belt and south part of the country to do the same work that they are doing at home,why didn't you build a DAM OR DAMS there to help them grow the farming work that they get their living from instead you supervised corruption forgetting that you are from that area.

To be sure, corruption in Ghana cannot and must not be blamed on any one political party. All the political parties, especially the two major ones, are made up of corrupt Ghanaians. Ghanaians are very corrupt, left and right.

Have you forgotten the corrupt activities the erstwhile Kufuor's NPP administration engaged in, particularly the roles he himself and Akufo-Addo personally played in promoting and engaging in corruption? Have you forgotten how the NPP turned Ghana into a cocaine hub in the West African sub-region? Can you say that Mr. Kufuor and other NPP bigwigs did not know that Eric Amoateng was a cocaine baron who funded the NPP? Have you forgotten how Kufuor defended himself and his administration against corruption by saying that that evil phenomenon had existed since the time of Adam? Have you forgotten the numerous corruption allegations made against Akufo-Addo personally, how, for example, he 'killed' the case involving three NPP women executives who were arrested at the Kotoka International Airport during the Kufuor administration on the charge of attempting to export cocaine to Europe? Have you forgotten how Akufo-Addo de-confiscated and returned the properties of one Amankwa, his cousin, to him when the former served as Attorney-General and Minister of Justice in the Kufuor administration? What about the 20 diplomatic passports that disappeared from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs when Akufo-Addo was the substantive minister? Was one of those passports not used by a cousin of Akufo-Addo's in Singapore where he was arrested for dealing in cocaine? What happened to the cocaine seized from the ship Benjamin and deposited at the Ghana Police Headquarters in Accra? Did all the cocaine not mysteriously disappear but some were traced to the Asantehene Osie Tutu II's palace in Kumasi? Did Kufuor not promote Justice Georgina Theodora Wood to the position of Chief Justice mainly because she saved from embarrassment Kufuor himself, the Asantehene, the Asante Inspector-General of Police and his Asante Deputy as well as the entire NPP by questionably declaring at the conclusion of her commission that its investigations were inconclusive? Was that not shameful for and about the country Ghana?

These examples are only a tip of the iceberg when it comes to the question of corruption that the NPP as a party engaged in. How can you Prof. Adei pretend now that you are not aware of the massive corruption the NPP under Kufuor's leadership engaged in? Should you be taken seriously? Your problem seems to be that you have a log in your eyes that you should strive to remove first, otherwise you can't see the spec in your opponents' eyes.
