INTELLIGENCE REPORTS INDICATE THAT IT IS A HIGH VALUE PROPERTY OWNED BY THE FORMER PRESIDENT AND HIS CLOSE PEOPLE. LORDINA, IBRAHIM, HANNAH TETTEH, OTHERS LIKELY INVOLVED. THE MINING OPERATION HAS BEEN A SOURCE OF WORRY FOR LOCALS WHO COMPLAIN OF NEGLIGENCE, ILL TREATMENT BY THE CHINESE OPERATORS AND SOLDIERS FROM 5BN REGULARLY SENT TO SECURE THE PIT MINE. ASSEMBLY MAN, DCE AND ELDERS OF THE NEARBY VILLAGES HAVE COMPLAINED BITTERLY BUT IT ALWAYS CAME TO NOTHING. THE YOUTH ARE NOT HIRED TO WORK OR EVEN VENTURE NEAR THE HEAVILY GUARDED FOREST AREA. TALK OF DIRTY SLAPS AND INTIMIDATION BY SOLDIERS. LOCALS CAN NO LONGER GO TO THEIR FARMS NEAR THE MINE. THEY HEARD THE MAHAMA CLIQUE HAD A HAND IN IT WITH THE CHINESE. TENSIONS HAVE BEEN VERY HIGH. MAXWELL WASN'T LYNCHED, STONED AND BURNED BY ACCIDENT. SUDDENLY, WORD LEAKED ABOUT JOHN MAHAMA'S RELATIVE HAVING TAKEN OVER COMMAND OF SECURITY. YOU MAY NOT BELIEVE IT BUT GIVE IT ONLY 14%.
