Mistakes.
1.you don't go jogging having your officially assigned weapon on you whiles you are wearing civilian clothes. You only have your assigned weapon on you when you in your official uniforms.
2.he didn't practice the "battle buddy " system we have in the US army anytime you as a soldier is deployed.
The system pretty much means walking or doing things in pair whereby one person can also cover your back. It is done in every sphere of activity from jogging, eating,even going to the latrine (going to the toilet ).etc.when this is done you will never go down or it would be difficult to be harmed.
3.in the us army we are trained to defend and respect civilians but if you feel threatened and your life is on the life,shot to defend yourself or kill when it comes to the worse and i can bet my last dime on it that your superiors will defend you or worse still you go to jail for a year or 2 and they will use some technicality to take you out of jail and make it a foolish case.in private, we are told when $h!T goes down do what you have to do.mahama should have gone boot to boot when he felt threatened

So where would he have been for the 3 weeks he was there for which reason he would be identified as an armed robber? He went on his usual morning job which again means, for the 3 weeks he has been in the area, he has been jogging every morning if not most mornings so somebody must have seen him in the area before knowing how the social life of such communities are.
So on all those mornings he has been jogging, had he been carrying his pistol and had he been jogging by himself being the Commander of a platoon? Besides this platoon and what they were doing there must have been known to the community since he went to relieve another Commander who had been there before him.
So when exactly did he start carrying his pistol and why did he have it on that fateful morning? Was it every morning for the 3 weeks he had been there? And for the 3 weeks he had been there and had been going on his routine morning jog, nobody in that community saw him, for him to be mistaken for an armed robber?
Something does not add up at all and Ghana must get to the bottom of this matter. The story is not adding up and the parties involved from the military, the platoon, and everybody must start talking now.
