THE MILITARY COMMAND SAID THEY HAD NOT OFFICIALLY SENT ANY OF ITS MEMBERS TO ANY MINING SITE IN THE COUNTRY WHEN THEY WERE CAUGHT PROTECTING THE RUSSIANS IN THE ASHANTI REGION. NOW, WHAT CHANGED?

Enough of these soldiers unleashing brutality on innocent Ghanaians. Are you people above the law? What was the Capt. doing in the early hours of the morning with his pistol outside his base/house? Is only in Africa that people we have hired to protect us, given free uniform and pay without them doing anything in terms of offering any protecting carry on with impunity to terrorize us without people able to challenge them. Let it known to these soldiers that they are no men without the guns that we Ghanaians have bought for them. You will never see this culture of impunity any where in any advance country. All these soldiers involved in these brutalities have to be jailed and eventually sacked if we claim to be living in a democratic country. This stupid behavior was started during that animal called Rawlings' regime, and it has to stop now. Otherwise, everyone can get a gun and turn this country into anarchy.

I strongly recommend that the Military Police fully take charge of this investigation. Please take out of the hands of the Ghana police service immediately. They have demonstrated gross Incompetence in putting together solid dockets for easy prosecutions in all the most recent criminal cases. Please save the nation another embarrassment.
