Adei should know that it doesn't matter where you are located if you have money you can make it work, but agree that there is no reason why a country like Ghana should not flourish considering our resources. The key is to stop corruption and we will be OK.

His transformation of GIMPA from the state it was then and to the point he left it, is a work for the books. Prof. Adei did not allow the civil service structure that enveloped the institution, to hinder the grand vision he had for the institution. He did all he could to bring it to become an institution of excellence. He did all these within a decade or less. If Prof.Adei had remained at the institution it could well rival Legon in structure and substance, in a matter of a years. The fact is that you cannot put Prof. Adei in a hole, he will just pop up and hit the streets. Prof. Stephen Adei has indeed positively affected our

is a shame cos we don't know the impact all those monies spent there can have in Ghana. those monies can be used to develop Ghana and create more jobs and make Ghana an investment hub rubbing shouilders with the rest of the world.
I don't hate Ghanaian stars like Sandra ankobia always flying to other countries to spend monies in countries that colonized them or when their spending will not impact positively on their country of origin.

When general Abacha pressured the government in Dubai to expose Nigerian thieves, they could only expose few.
Maybe if the NPP Government puts pressure on them, they might compromise and expose the Mahama looters! Dubai, Mauritius and Brazil..... the new found fiscal paradise for African thieves!

My dear Prof, you have a good point and you are bang on with your observation. But I think you are part of the problem prof. You are an educationist and you educated and trained these so-called politicians and policy makers who cannot think outside the box. You were at GIMPA and because of money we all saw the caliber of politicians who turned students over night and flocked to the institution you once headed to enroll in programs to become lawyers and were awarded various dubious Graduate degrees. I wonder if you questioned the caliber of students who were admitted then and now. You should not be surprised the politicians cannot turn Ghana into a tourist destination. They will rather steal our money, stash it in Dubai, go there with their families on lavish vacations and enjoy their spoils (Do you remember the immediate past president of Ghana?) PROF TAKE A LOOK at OUR EDUCATION SYSTEM AND THE PRODUCTS THAT COME OUT OF IT.
