  This rite of passage is as old as Africa and much older that the whole Euro pale race, and it's practice all over Africa from Southern Africa thru East, Central to West Africa. But we've allowed these culture less pale people to have come from their cold climate with no culture to come and instructed us who are their mothers and fathers how to live socially. But all that we've copied from these pale people with no souls as they lacked melanin got us into more social problems than we ever hoped for.
  
  It's like we're going to Kumasi and have got knocked down by some thieves at Ejusu, and when we woke up from our coma, we started moving back towards Accra and now, we're at Nsawam.
  Can you all see how far back we've come, when we almost had made it to Kumasi before the pale man came from his cold soulless caves with a bible?

  After re-introducing puberty rites, the Chiefs in Ashanti should put pressure on the men not to sleep with teenagers and re-introduce the appropriate punishment for men who break these rules.
  
  We must go back to our traditions to make sure our society does not fall apart. We will be criticised by human rights organisations and a lot of "westernised" Ghanaians who think that everybody should speak only English and everything African is primitive and should be discarded. Please Nana Hemaa ignore the westernised Ghanaians and the human rights organisations and do everything in your power to ensure our society does not fall apart. Yes, and ignore the pastors if they criticise you.

  Adika, you are right. It should be introduced in all regions. Not the Ashanti version of puberty rights but the puberty rights that existed before the white man came and told us to destroy our culture.

  Clearly this westernisation of our cultures in Africa has left us with lots of problems. Our societies have fallen apart, there is high teenage pregnancy is almost all sub-saharan african countries; people do not respect their elders.
  We are told that saying whatever you like to an older person is called freedom of speech and everybody can say whatever they like. The aspects of our culture that is good e.g. puberty rights and responsibilities should be re-introduced. If you don't like it, move to Europe and America where black teenage pregnancy rate is now extremely high.
  Kudos to the Queen Mother of Asante Manpong for daring to think in such an manner. We support you, the queenmothers. Please help to reduce this high teenage pregnancy in our society.

Woman's life in Ghana is pitiable. And ... think about: who makes all this young girls pregnant ... who?! But nobody speaks about them! You always blame women for that ... never the men. Ghana has to learn a lot ... to be born as a woman in Ghana, that must be the hell on earth.
  And to you black men: Here, in Europe, you are not anymore a king .. here you are the same, than a woman; you would cry big tears here, because our women are educated and will show to you, where the "door to go" is
