  What I have read is that Maxwell is his mother's only son. That is what ex-president Mahama said. With that I assumed that if there are brothers, they may belong to the father.

  Having said that I have noticed also that some northerners seem to use 'brother' and 'sister' generously. It is a bit like Fanti's and their use of 'cousin'.

  I have watched videos, showing different points in time, as this man was beaten. Each one has kindled in me a kind of rage I have not felt in years.
  
  I ask myself why some are still walking around in Denkyira Boase, free! It appears to me that several dozens took part in this outrageous murder.
  
  Several years ago, when I was 15, I was being chased one night, while I was on my way home. But for a family called the Smiths, I would have been beaten to a pulp. My legs did not fail me that day, as I ran a little over a 100 yards, finally throwing myself in the arms of one of the Smiths, when I recognized him. He is the one who shielded me, along with his sisters, possibly saving my life that day. They vouched for me, explaining that they knew me and I was not a thief. My own family was a block away and came to get me, but I know that I could not have continued running.
  
  I am not sure I will ever get over this anger at the cowards who killed Cpt. Mahama.
