To uphold national security, Nana Akufo Addo and NPP must face retributive justice by the military. National security is a measurable state of the capability of a nation to overcome the multi-dimensional threats to the apparent well-being of its people and its survival as a nation-state at any given time, by balancing all instruments of state policy through governance. As Ghanaians have decided to take a common direction to promote national development others thugs collectively known as NPP sympathizers with savage mentality strategized to create post electoral chaos since the election, attacking citizens who do not share their views, either robbing them of their properties, and cruelly lynching and slaughtering law enforcing personnels like Captain Maxwell Adam Mahama; just because they grabbed power through the lies of Nana Akufo Addo and his “all die be die” strategy and 419 schemes.

Following the official declaration of the last presidential electoral results, Nana Akufo Addo through his NPP thugs has been engaged in acts of terrorism and sabotage of the State and undermining personal security the citizens of Ghana. Security threats involve not only conventional foes such as other nation-states but also violent non-state actors; and it is sad to state here that in the case of Ghana, NPP can be categorized as non-state violent political group. National security is best described as a capacity to control those domestic and foreign conditions that the public opinion of a given community believes necessary to enjoy its own self-determination, prosperity and wellbeing.

It is time that Nana becomes aware that national security is the protection of citizens and territory from physical attacks which are considered as essential to the fundamental values and the vitality of the State. In other words, national security is the ability of Government to preserve the nation's physical integrity and territory, to maintain the survival of the State through the use of appropriate legal power to contain threats by using counterintelligence services to protect the nation from internal threats from NPP. Nana must also be aware that political security is about the stability of the social order. National security is also a blend of political resilience and maturity; and in this post-election era in Ghana, upon all the provocations from the main losing party NPP, Ghanaians from different political walks appear to uphold resilience, maturity and political security by not reacting to the provocation. The comportment of Akufo Addo and that of his thugs is a threat to national security, thus retributive justice must be applied by the military in order to send a message to Nana that they should not repeat those violent behaviors again. When a chronic offender like Nana Akufo Addo breaks the law, he thereby forfeits his right to play key role in Ghana politics, and justice requires that he is arrested by the military and punished accordingly and that his NPP party must be classified as a non-state actor that undermines national security, so it must be banned definitely from Ghana politics or at least be classified as such. The classical definition of retributive justice embraces the idea that the amount of punishment must be proportionate to the amount of harm caused by the offence. An alternative to retributive justice consists of declaring the transgressor NPP and Akufo Addo as an outlawed gang which we can no more tolerate in Ghana.

The charges being proffered should be diversed to cover as many as 30 seen on the video. The video was great. Your comments indicate why the military officer was lynched because we normally come to a conclusion about everything just a second. You want to tell me that the whole entire community took part of the lynching?those of you calling them villagers and insulting them but the same issue of instance justice started from Accra and kumasi. Civilised people, where were you when innocent people are being killed in the same way,are they not human being?because it happened to someone with visibility that why the nation is making noise?Then it means Ghana is an animals kingdom, only the strongest are surviving. If you live in a lawless country don't be surprised to hear such news. Those who have to enforce the laws are using their position for only money and only the poor people are always under the law in Ghana.

Much as I share the pain of this fallen soldier who died in the course of serving his nation, an investigation into the allegation that Ibrahim Mahama has his men in the forests doing serious will be in order. The perpetrators must be heavily punished in accordance with the laws of the land. No one should get a prison sentence less than 20 years to serve as a deterrent to others.

Your government was very fast to stop videos and Fotos of the victim ... but what is this here ?? Everybody is innocent until his fault is proved to him. This is also a fact in a democratically country .... have you forgotten ??!!

And if he is guilty also, he has personal rights (f.e. not to post his picture)

It is absurd for any Ghanaian to molest or above all lynch any relative or the ex-president Mahama despite what he did to improve Ghana roads, streets and fly-overs as well as built schools etc. for Ghanaians. Since independence with the exception of our first late president Nkrumah no other president has done more than ex-president Mahama so he deserves to be praised honoured and respected.
