The snail seller is not to blame; she reported an unusual sighting of a young man whom sh didn't recognize, carrying a gun and a wqad of notes. She reported it to Who? her Assemblyman, which is not wrong. The Assemblyman (who could have been the PDC,WDC chairman during the Revolution days & wielded so much power in the community & workplace)

It was his "say so" that spelt the late Capt's attack & death.

Lessons need to be learnt from this.

The npp & Nana are responsible for the current situation because they promised this galamseyers to enhance their operations NOT ban it.The activities are perpetrated by npp militants that akufo addo referred to as ...who showed something small...and therefore ...all die be die!!! Rawlings showed be bold & tell akufo addo to fix the situation. Has the government dealt with the remaining soldiers on mission in the area?

Here we are that we have a Commander in Chief of Ghana Armed Forces who's unable to cut his tour to Ecowas countries short and return home to mourn his soldier (a Captain) and who's still unable to pay a visit to the remaing soldiers on mission and stationed in the area to show them his solidarity.

Is that how we build confidence?

The only good thing the governent can do now is to pass a law in honour of late Captain Mahama, the Maxwell Mahama law to curb the rate of Armed Robbery in the country.
