Ghana Police - Enough is Enough
The rate of crime circulating in the media and news re becoming so disruptive and uncivilized that our country security issue has become more questionable . The onces respected community policing that used to patrol each vicinity against unscrupulous perpetrators and strangers has gone to mud . This community patrol or volunteers used to question people who they viewed as new to the area . They asked and screened them with lots of question to their outer dismay . So crime was easily dealt within the community in a more professional way before transferred to the highest authority. Modernity has come to stay but has been abused wrongly and badly by citizens of this country . Ghana police re not working and should wake up from their slumber . They re only interested in taking money from drivers and innocent on the road. Most of the police re seen around traffic light area standing akimbo and watching cars and people as if they re villagers in town . In the nutshell , most of this police officers re confused , not well trained but take their pay every month at the expense of the tax payer money. The IGP ( appeatu) is not on top of his duty and is a signal to him that the citizens re watching him closely . Appeatu or whatever his name is should task his men to work cos citizens re losing confidence in the police security . Community policing should be instensfied day and night - in and out every facets of the vicinity to boost the confidence of the citizenry. President akuffo Addo as a matter of urgency should summon all his security capos and task them to work hard since his popularity among the citizens re dwindling . This is wake up call to the national security and other security agencies . We pray for better Ghana and God bless us all. Happy June 4 anniversary.
