  I live in a 4 bedroom, two story rented property at Roman Ridge. I pay rent of over USD2,000/per month. Meanwhile, my landlord paid a total of only GHS230 as property rate for the entire year(2016) to the AMA! Are we serious as a nation? Isn't there something wrong with us Ghanaians? Anybody wants proof?

  We pay thousands of cedis every year to fix the roads, gutters and damages in our area.

  The property taxes must be used to provide services such as paved roads and sewer. Without decent services, it makes no sense to collect property taxes.
