He Said: “That was not how we were trained, it was not part of our training that you alone go on a jog. So my question is: ‘what was his mission there?’ If you are in a military detachment and you are going jogging, you don’t go with a sidekick?” “The report coming so far is that the Captain was on early morning jogging without a sidekick or without a number two attached to him? Now the man is dead so who came and told us that he was exercising? Whose story is that? The practice is that you should be accompanied by somebody else. It doesn’t happen that a Captain alone will be going jogging, that is not part of our training. Ask anybody, in those days when we are going jogging we would move in a group, so my question is, ‘what was his mission there (village)?’ “If you are a detachment commander and you are going on early morning exercise, you don’t go with your sidekick, at least one person with you? You do not walk into an operational area alone, so where was his sidekick? I find something wrong unless the information is to cover up. A senior Captain finding himself in a situation where he is not accompanied by anybody from his detachment, it is not done. Now he is dead and we know dead men don’t talk, but who reported that he was exercising? We need to question that person.”

THIS CHIEFS SHOULD STOP PRETENDING THEY HAVE PEACE BEFORE THIS EVENTS.THE TOWN HAS LOST ITS IMAGE BEFORE THE ACCIDENT HAPPENED.FOUR YEARS AGO THINGS WERE VERY BAD THERE BLAME YOUR LEADERSHIPS PERIOD.

The truth of the matter is that Satan who deceives the entire inhabitant earth(Revelation 12,9) continues to capitalize on the ignorant of many.
God has commanded humanity, way back during the times of the Pharaohs, not to mention the names of gods, let alone evoking their names(Exodus 12, 12: Exodus 23, 13).
So simply put, idolatry is demonic (1st Chronicles 16,26).
It has to be said that animal sacrifices cum libation constituted a ritual formula that God instituted among his covenant people Israel.
However, the ceremonial and ritual practices were all a shadow of Christ, (Book of Hebrews)who is the lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world.
Satan counterfeits the things of God, and those who are ignorant are caught up in the devices of the evil one, who masquerades as an angel of light.
God, through the Prophet Jeremiah warned the Jews who had arrogated to themselves the roles of the priestly class and poured libation when they were in diaspora as refugees in Egypt. They even challenged the authority of the Prophet,saying that they did see the Kings of Judah engaged in such practices along the street of Judah. God did warned them of the consequences of their behavior.
It is these kind of practices that has caught up with us and become an integral part of our culture.
The Jews in lower Egypt at that time never took a cue from what befell King Uzziah when he disregarded the warnings of the priest to refrain from priestly duties.
Unfortunately, King Uzziah never learnt a lesson from the episode between King Saul and the Prophet Samuel.
And as for the other nations in the world each was doing her own thing, with the thinking that they were pleasing their maker.
Even, Samaria which was geographically close to Judah, during the time of Christ were doing their own thing for which Christ showed his abhorrence, when she met the woman of Samaria.
In Samaria, today, animals are still sacrificed among certain religious groups.
Chiefs who really want help should consult men of God in their communities. I know that some Chiefs have come to embrace the Gospel and have destroyed shrines or at least do not attend to them again.
The Chiefs should note that when they take this bold decision, they will have a backing from the wider community and the Government, without any fear, but most importantly, they will have the backing from the God of Israel.
Libation pouring and evoking of names of gods, creates viable environment for fallen angels(demons) who have no abodes but seeking residence, to dwell in places where they could weird their influence as a result of utterances that have been made on alters, through libation and sacrifices.
Infact, it is as a result of these that empowers demons or Satan to continue to use human beings as tools to steal, kill and destroy(John 10.10)
An individual who engages in willful disobedience has no excuse on the land and on the day that is to come, that is why the Scriptures is here with us for our instruction.
