  I must say categorically we don't support illegal fishing,if we in the industry don't address our concerns from the base of our issues we will never succeed.
  When the Koreans were trawling in Ghana did we hear any complain of illegal fishing?Since 2001 when we introduced Chinese with their pair trawling into our ocean what have we achieved?Okay what we can say is pair trawling was banned but our we monitoring their activities.There are 147 chiness trawlers in our small ocean right now working 24/7 what are you saying about it?All the local content our fishermen will catch they are scoulping everything for a few richer and politician who brought them in Ghana.We will invite all Ghana canoe council members to come to Tema and testify for themselves what we are saying.There by-catch alone they throw back into the sea is not measureable.Let all join the crusade to drive them from our ocean for our local fishing industry to work and leave our local fishermen aloan.
