  BCE must be a National Evaluation to see how the students are performing nationally especially in the fields of science and mathematics
  
  The first pre-university certificate exams must be the WASSCE.. This is what is done in almost all advanced countries.
  This will guarantee every kid at least 12 continuous years of basic education in the country. No drop outs after Grade 8 or 9.. The kids would have attained some maturity too

  I fail to see how the cancellation of BECE will help students from deprived communities prepare better for WASSCE, if the still do not have electricity, still use cutlass as ruler and still study under trees without tables.

  The reasons being advanced for the cancellation of BECE do not make sense at all. I believe the logic behind this write up is highly flawed.
