  Should it be that from Osu - James town too have a Promenade to promote tourism in the area? This would create opportunities for the whole stretch of coastline. Currently walking along that coastline is not pleasant. We see local defecating on the beaches as a every day scenes. We would like to see shops , selling sea wear products, ice creams, fast foods, and many more.

  The marine Drive project will be sensational if is approved and implemented. It will be dream come through when completed for the capital and entire country. Certainly the youths should be trained before the completion of the project. I hope there are hoteling, caterer and cultural courses in our universities and institutions to enable these youths to be trained and do their apprenticeships in already established state and private hostels. The osu chief was not supposed to accept this cancerous deal because this will be the end of the local fishermen, their culture and heritage, and standard of living will be so high, and later investors will be buying their homes and houses for amounts they can't refuse and the osu will be turned into tourist town. Also how many of these indigenous people of osu will be qualified to work there? What is the long term plans or plan B, for the people incase business is not successful as we are in financial meltdown in the whole world. I think is a bad deal for osu people because the government could have opened fisheries, Coldstores and factories and the youth can be trained through right from school. Am very sad
