  It is true what Pratt is saying,what is the benifit for security of the country if a new appointed IGP comes to office to transfer senior officers from one place to another,thus it mean his predecessor is incompetent or what?

  I do not think it is about confidence in the security services that influence people to indulge in instant justices. it is a practice that has been left unchecked for a longtime. day in day out people are reporting petty assault, stealing and others to the police why cases of robbery and others people resort to mob action. the attitudinal behaviour must stop.

  it can be possible that one day, the whole security agencies including the Police,Military,Prisons and the rest will vote against an in-coming government. if that happens what will the new government do? To sack all such security agencies or what? Prior to the 2016 elections, a lot of our security personnel were seen openly supporting the elephants. what do we expect to happen should a new government emerge after the elephants? Will they feel comfortable working with the same security personnel? i suggest strongly that our security agencies are not allowed to vote in future elections so that their loyalty to the state will not be doubted. Ghana politics are destroying our security agencies. Some politicians appear to use our security agencies to hide their corrupt practices. I also wish the practise where police and soldiers become body guards of some politicians or ministers is stopped. In UK, America and other countries we don't see police men or soldiers as body guards to state ministers. It is only the President and other selected state officials who are entitled to such state protection. Ministers and other politicians can rely on trained private security formations for their protection so that the Police and the Military can have sufficient men on the ground to fight crime and other acts of terrorism.
