I can say with all precision that Ghana and for that matter Africa in general is not mature enough to practice democratic governance, and situations unfolding right now are clear testimony to the kind of observations I have made so far. It is obvious he has not learnt his lesson from the negative rating he had for national security in his first hundred days in office.
My assessment is that he is not serious. The nation expects him to disband these gangs, assert his authority and really allow the law and order agencies to function according to their mandates.
Elections are over and he is head of state of all. He should let the citizens feel secure and not be partisan in their protection. The President should be mindful that he is the commander-in-chief and his inability to check the hooliganism of his party thugs will undermine his stature with the security services. The Asantehene has already warned him about his associates.
It is obvious he is pandering to somebody who is a party financier and controller of the gangs.

Ghana should now be aware that this president has planned for blood shed should he lose the next election. If the president is actually a level headed leader he should have disbanded and tamed these brood of savages to stop this lawlessness but nay, he has closed his eyes to their behaviour and probably applauds and congratulates them on their animalistic behaviours. Ghanaians should now know that they have staffed their presidency with the wrong gang of people whose rule will yield adverse results. OH WHAT A PRESIDENT WE HAVE!
