We can't and should not put a price on decongestion. There are dangerous conditions that we must eliminate at all cost, and one of them is the wanton hawking of wares on our streets that has caused dangerous congestions of humans and vehicles in public places and roads. We cannot continue to "kejetiarize" all the free spaces in our cities and towns. Having fresh air is priceless!

In Ghana, when you don't or can't get it your way, you look for fault and pin it on the guy that has the nerve to block and do the right thing. The decongestion in Tamale should have started in the seventies when all was ripe and could have been done without any nuisances. You could tell then, Tamale in those days was going to be one of the fastest and economically viable and emerging metropolises of the country. Sorry some of the locals played on its emergence with the chieftaincy and slanderous acts for their personal gains and glory. Mr mayor, be brave and do the right thing. The people will see the benefits of your fruits later when no goat is spotted bleating their heart out in the market place or around the center of town.
But do they know it's value?
