Jerry John Rawlings has stated that greed among some party members led to their loss in the 2016 general elections. He claimed corruption increased to insane levels under John Mahama and accused them of departing from the values of probity and accountability which formed the basis under which the party was formed. According to him, it was mainly because of the corruption that the NDC lost power to the governing New Patriotic Party.

  NDC HAS MILKED GHANA DRY: NDC guys are crooks. The other time Dr Apaak, a presidential staffer under Mahama, came out to claim that an amount of $5.9M was rather the cost of the new Veep Mansion. Then NDC Deputy Minority leader, James Klutse Avedzi, also said the amount is $5.0M. Now the NDC General Secretary is saying the amount is $3.5M. It is only the NPP that has remained consistent with $13.9 so far. It appears the NDC is not saying the truth. They are doing this to defend Thief Mahama at all cost. However, pressure mounted on the NDC has forced Allotey Jacobs, the NDC chairman for Central Region to admit guilt. He stated on Peace Fm that the fresh document from Consar on the cost of the project brings finality to the controversy surrounding the cost, adding that contesting the cost is impossible.“With what has come from Consar Limited, it is difficult to defend this issue. They are on the job and what they have put out settles the controversy surrounding the cost of the project. If Consar themselves have put out this information, then what do I have to say…nothing.” IT IS ONLY THIEVES WHO WILL ALWAYS DEFEND THEIR FELLOW THIEF AT THE PERIL OF THEIR LIVES.

  Corrupt and nation wrecker John Mahama said it all, that God Himself removed him from power. This one truth John Mahama has ever said in his entire life and reasonable Ghanaians agree completely with him.
  
  It is true that God Almighty Himself remove corrupt Mahama led NDC corrupt government. Does John Mahama has brains to think of what comes out of his mouth? Even inexperience primary school prefect who has lost his prefectship won't say what dumb Mahama said that it is God who had his choice. Why did God had his choice? Mahama must answer these questions. Very brainless person is john Mahama.
  
  God wants to institute His own man, and that man is President Nana Akuffo Addo. God does not reward evil. That was why God Himself uprooted evil NDC government, Notorious Mahama lead NDC government officials were stealing and looting the state treasury to the extent that NDC government emptied the treasury. God saw this and was displeased about it and He uprooted NDC government from power.
  
  So, John Mahama is right in saying that NDC defeat is God's own choice. God does not reward evil and arrogance. It will take NDC government for more than fifty years to come back to power, for their sins have risen onto God.
  
  Innocent Ghanaians were dying because the healthcare system has been collapsed. No medicines in our hospitals. When these corrupt NDC party officials were sick, they traveled outside Ghana for medical treatment God could not bear any longer NDC thieves and looters injustices to Ghanaians. And God brought n Nana Addo to build Ghana for Him. God has so many Children who have believed in His Son, Jesus Christ. He could no longer tolerate NDC destruction of moral values, chirstian values and poorized the whole nation.Hence, God removed corrupt John Mahama and his notorious NDC thieves and looters.
  
  God Almighty has established Nana Addo government, and through God's grace, Nana Addo will perform wonders in building Ghana's economy NDC plunged it down the hills.
  
  God bless Nana Addo and his NPP government for allowing themselves to be established by God after God had removed NDC. AMEN

With reference to Mahama regime (NDC), budgets were read beginning of each year raising prices on commodities, food stuffs, etc. I can bet my bottom cedi that if Mahama were to win, prices of things would be sky rocketing. At least Nana Addo government have tried not to raise prices. Anyone who raise prices will be doing so without enough justification. Petrol prices has rather come down.
