  Listen to the NDC goon FiiFi Quartey, how much did he transfer to his offshore accounts in Dubai as as the deputy finance minister? We are our own enemies. I thought Aflao is the electoral World Bank of the National Democratic Concert. So after all, the criminal NDC couldn't build a sea defense walls or Levees in Aflao after these people gave them their vote for a whooping 25 years?

  While the President is admonishing African governments to move away from foreign aid, the Minister is asking for donor support to control tidal waves.
  When will our governments sit down and seriously study ways and means to streamline our economies, plug loopholes in revenue generation and cut down waste so we can make resources available for projects in our various countries?
  Schemes like YEA, MASLOC, School - feeding and free utilities for government appointees, personnel of the public services, especially those of the security services, deplete our financial resources. If we assiduously pursue illegal users of electricity and collect bills due and not pay lip service to plans to automate the collection of road tolls, among other prudent measures, we should have enough funds to undertake important projects.
  The donor countries are disciplined and austere in their approach to public financial management that is why they have surpluses to mop up our sloppiness. Africans must be serious.
