NDC may have ordered the cars earlier bcause they were sure of victory, or because they had plans to loot a share the cars. It's even possible they had inflated the purchase cost by threefold and had to go ahead, instead of cancelling the contract after they lost. This is absolute BULLSHIT. When was the contract prepared and signed for him to procure and deliver in Ghana within one week in time for the innauguration. Did they know how long it takes to manufacture a customized vehicle? What makes sense is to conclude that the order was made at least six months earlier. If there was no government contract for them six months earlier then the vehicles were not meant for government initially. Let us not forget there are people in ghana who can afford private planes for whom 9million dollars is chicken feed. This is someone's private deal that is being hung around the neck of the new government because things have changed.

If indeed the NDC thinks that the NPP requested that they (NDC ) imports the vehicles, they can come out with their evidence: where was the deal stroked? Were there any surveillance at the venue of the said meeting? Are there any tapes and scripts and sign memorandum of the said meetings? If it turns out that there is not a even shred of paper trail of the said agreement, then I'm totally convinced that the Mahama administration was indeed very incompetent. How do you expect somebody like me to believe, there was a multimillion dollar deal for an acquisition of the fleet of presidential vehicles without an iota of a proof? I know one thing, that the NDC is trying to shove this ostensibly payola kind of a deal into the throats of the incoming administration. Again I smell a foul play on the side of the criminal NDC administration. They might have bugged the said vehicles with some sophisticated surveillance equipments to snoop on the government that's all.

Any reasonable individual would expect that Mahama would not commit himself to any new orders for the new administration's use. May be, the old administration wanted to order new cars so that outgoing ministers and other high-level officials could "buy" existing cars at give-away prices. This whole issue makes no political and economic sense, other than perpetuation of corrupt practices.

My little advice to alhaji Bature is to desist from all forms of lies whiles fasting and after fasting else hell await him.
