Jerry John Rawlings has stated that greed among some party members led to their loss in the 2016 general elections. He claimed corruption increased to insane levels under John Mahama and accused them of departing from the values of probity and accountability which formed the basis under which the party was formed. According to him, it was mainly because of the corruption that the NDC lost power to the governing New Patriotic Party.

Things are worse now than ever. Electricity bills have been increased, transport fares have skyrocketed, cash and carry is back, prices of goods and services have escalated, fuel price has risen , NPP terrorist groups have taken over this country, as a result we have never had peace since they took over. Ironically, NPP have spent 7billion dollars in 6months yet they have no constructed even an ordinary wall. The only think they have done is sacking workers.

He does not see Akuffo Addo's brother looting the state to the tune of twelve million cedis only to be refunded under a new regime so he is confused .
He is not seeing the usual bus branding to the tune of millions to be refunded at the culprit's own convenience.
He sees people refunding millions of stolen dollars so he is confused and dazzled. This is not the normal way NDC governments operate.
He is confused because a head of a state organisation under NPP government is no longer paid lunch allowance of one billion old cedis per month plus barbering allowance of ten million old cedis per month.
He is confused because people are questioning how the fence wall of the plying grounds can cost eight billion cedis.
He is dazzled because the residence of the vice president which is not built of gold cannot cost around $14 million dollars.
Please NDC if you are dreaming wake up.
The looting of 32 million Euros of the Euro bond shared under the NDC regime is known to Adanko and so Yamoah Ponko and his cronies are confused because the NPP did not share the $2.25 billion bond and hence the noise about it.
Be prepared to spend the next twenty four years in opposition.
