First of all, this has nothing to do with jealousy in a sense that what Gyan did was wrong and something has to be said about it. Captainship armband is not supposed to be an individual property. Therefore, there is no way one with a mature mind should customize it. GFA is whom to blame because if Gyan is that ignorant and didn't know, at least, GFA should have stopped him from using it. Coach Appiah too should have said something. This is something the FA was supposed to give to him instead of he creating his own. What if he was hurt on the field and Dede was to take over the leadership? Were you expecting Dede to remover his top and put on Gyan's to match the customized armband? I mean, Gyan's number #3 is in his customized armband. How about Gyan's haircut style indicated in the armband? Were you expecting Dede to cut his hair like that before he can put on that band?

Gyan made a mistake and it is okay to admit it and move on. Rather he had the nerve to respond to it. And you using Our Lord Jesus Christ's story in such a case, oh my goodness. What were you thinking?

Sections 20.1 & 20.2 of the FIFA captains armband rules & regulations are against your profile picture on the captain's armband. Change your attitude and people will stop talking about you.
