  JJ HAS DELIVERED THE MUCH NEEDED DEADLY BLOW TO FINISH OFF CORRUPT NDC!!!! COURTESY; GBC.COM ----- ***---- A Former President and Founder of the National Democratic Congress, NDC, Flt. Lt. Jerry John Rawlings has stated that greed among some party members led to their loss in the 2016 general elections. He claimed corruption increased to insane levels under John Mahama and accused them of departing from the values of probity and accountability which formed the basis under which the party was formed. According to him, it was mainly because of the corruption that the NDC lost power to the governing New Patriotic Party.

  The National Id is key but it cannot function well without a proper modern Street Addressing System, as has long been suggested by World Bank Experts, and endorsed by other reputable Institutions like the M.I.T.

  Our folks could live all their lives without any fixed Addresses they could be associated with. That makes their inclusion in any head-count or census data for Economic planning more difficult.
  
  Besides, any foreigner could come in and claim Ghanaian Citizenship anytime without ever living here for any considerable length of time.
  
  More, without such proper Addresses, folks could not be well located for financial and banking activities they may have to get involved in to promote their own economic activities. That also makes the financial institutions all the more reluctant to give out loans to various entrepreneurs, including farmers. Our current Address system allows dishonest lenders hide from any attempts to collect delinquent loans.
  
  It is therefore necessary that along with any National Id implementation, we establish that kind of uniform modern Street Addressing System. Every community must be involved in creating the Addresses in it. For example, Street names chosen for any Street must preferably come from the locals themselves. In that case, it becomes easier to locate and remember them.
