But she must know that even the ex-Omanhene, the late Akuamoah Boateng, was illegitimately enstooled and the matter went to court. The main argument that Prof. Akosah is from Mampong is rather naive and un-Akan: his lineage qualifies him. Foolish and greedy Queenmother. If her relative were born in the US and had American passport, she would surely not reject him as alien.

Prof should rather cure his wrongful installation. From his writing, it clearly shows he has no legitimacy on the stool. He should just step down for a legitimate successor to the stool to be enstooled.

If Badu Akosah was wrongly installed, the People of his town must not be made scapegoats to suffer the said siege.

If the People of Abene, by consensus, likes him the best as their Chief, no one from outside must interfere. And if the Abetifihene and his cohorts do not like it, then they should dispute it on a higher level of adjudication. Every Chief of Abene is by default the Kwahumanhene. And if the Abetifihene or any other Chief in the area has some personal beef with the nominated Chief of Abene, it doen't give him the right or justification to attack the Town of Abene. This spate of Lawlessness in Ghana must stop now! We are in the 21st Century. Not the 18th or 19th or even 20th.

Meanwhile, the Akufo-Addo Government is sitting idle by to watch the situation escalate. I guess it is not interested in saving the skin of Badu Akosah because he is a CPP leader. But the paramount concern is about the whole population of Abene, not just Badu Akosah.

So, the Government must get off "its fat sloppy arse" and do something for Peace for once. The Government's aloofness in this case further entrenches the suggestion that it permits gangsterism, hooliganism and thuggery to prevail in Ghana with impunity. No wonder the so-called thuggish Invincible and Delta Forces still run around causing mayhem. It appears the Police have been instructed from above to stay put, and not intervene. If anyone dies from this crisis, the Police and the Government must be sued to the hilt and charged with criminal negligence.

And that is no improvement over the previous Administration at all.
