Jerry John Rawlings has stated that greed among some party members led to their loss in the 2016 general elections. He claimed corruption increased to insane levels under John Mahama and accused them of departing from the values of probity and accountability which formed the basis under which the party was formed. According to him, it was mainly because of the corruption that the NDC lost power to the governing New Patriotic Party.

Whilst Sophia skipped being called to the bar to grab her masters degree in law outside, Atuguba just got called to the bar. So what the heck was this questions about??? Punk Iddrisu should get straight into his dumb-head that the CJ is the boss of the judiciary so damn the stupid bar-calling mantra and talk about a capability to turn around the judiciary to rid all the corrupt Atugubas who have dented its image. In every vetting that had gone on this year in the parliament,you would get an NDC member asking questions projecting their ignorance or utter ego on tribal lines. What is the point of one ignorant and good for nothing over indulged Haruna Iddrisu asking a question on seniority? What is the sense? For the records Atugubah is ruled out because of his impending pension.
