Jerry John Rawlings has stated that greed among some party members led to their loss in the 2016 general elections. He claimed corruption increased to insane levels under John Mahama and accused them of departing from the values of probity and accountability which formed the basis under which the party was formed. According to him, it was mainly because of the corruption that the NDC lost power to the governing New Patriotic Party.

  DVLA must be joking. Why to I need a goro boy to register my vehicle, take a driver's licence or renew an old one. These goro boys are nothing but middlemen to the same officials of the DVLA. In fact, this goro nonsense just breeds corruption, watered by DVLA officials. Government must wipe out the practice, both at DVLA and the Passport Office.
