THAT ON FRIDAY, JUNE 16, 2017 AFTER I HAVE RE-SUBMITTED THE POLICE INCIDENT REPORTS THAT I SUBMITTED TO THE FORMER INSPECTOR GENERAL OF GHANA POLICE SERVICE MOHAMMED ALHASSAN AND THE CRIMINAL INVESTIGATIONS DEPARTMENT (CID) HEADQUARTERS IN ACCRA IN 2014 AND THE CASE WAS ASSIGNED TO THEN CHIEF SUPERINTENDENT OF POLICE AT THE CID HEADQUARTERS AND ASSISTANT COMMISSIONER OF POLICE DENNIS ABADE TO INVESTIGATE AND HE RETRIEVED THE MONEYS BUT DIVERTED THE MONEYS TO HIS AND HIS CRONIES PRIVATE ACCOUNTS THAT I HAVE BEEN DULY INFORMED BY THE CID HEADQUARTERS THAT THE FILES OF THE CASE CANNOT OR COULD BE TRACED.
THAT IN VIEW OF THE ABOVE THAT I WAS REQUESTED TO RE-SUBMIT A COPY OF THE REPORT AT THE CID HEADQUARTERS AND ON FRIDAY, JUNE 16, 2017 I DID RE-SUBMIT THE POLICE INCIDENT REPORT WITH NEW DEVELOPMENTS AT THE CID HEADQUARTERS IN ACCRA.
THEREAFTER, I WAS TRAVELLING WITH METRO TRANSIT BUS FROM ACCRA TO HO AND THE BUS LEFT THE TRANSIT STATION BETWEEN 2.00 PM TO 2.30 PM AND THAT THE CONDUCTOR AND THE DRIVER PASSED THROUGH TEMA THAT THEY WERE GOING TO PICK ONE (1) DRUM OF ENGINE OIL AT TEMA OIL REFINERY AND LATER ON PASSED THROUGH DAWENYA AND AFIENY ROAD AND IT TOOK NINE (9) HOURS TO REACH AFIENYA, THEREAFTER< SOME THREATENING AND SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITIES THEY ENGAGED IN ON THE ROAD.
THAT THE CREDITS ON MY TWO (2) CELL PHONES WERE ALSO REMOVED SO THAT I COULD NOT MAKE A TELEPHONE CALL TO ANYBODY AND AT ONE SPOT THEY ASKED ALL THE PASSENGERS TO GET DOWN FROM THE BUS BUT I REFUSED TO GET DOWN FROM THE BUS AND A FRIEND JUST CALLED MY PHONE FROM HO AND I WAS NARRATING THE STORY TO HER THAT I SUSPECTED THAT THE METRO BUS DRIVER, THE CONDUCTOR AND EXTRA TWO (2) DRIVERS ON BOARD THE BUS HATCHED AN "EVIL PLAN AGAINST US AND EVEN THEY CAN OR COULD KILL US AND TO BURN US WITH THE DRUM OF OIL THEY PUT ON BOARD OF THE BUS AND SURPRISINGLY THE BUS STARTED MOVING AND IN FACT IT TOOK US ALMOST TWELVE(12) HOURS TO REACH HO AT ABOUT 2.00 AM, THEREABOUT.
THAT A JOURNEY OF THREE (3) HOURS TOOK US TWELVE (12) HOURS FROM ACCRA TO HO.
THAT ON SATURDAY MORNING I RESPECTFULLY DID REPORT THE INCIDENT TO THE BNI HEADQUARTERS AND THE DEPUTY DIRECTOR GENERAL OF CID ON PHONE, THERETO.
THAT THE THREATENING INCIDENT INCIDENT ACTUALLY DID HAPPEN AT HON. SAM GEORGE CONSTITUENCY AREA AND THEREFORE, IF HE HIMSELF NOW MAKING THE ALLEGATIONS PUBLISHED BELOW ON GHANAWEB.COM THEN IT RAISED SERIOUS CONCERNS AND NEED A THOROUGH INVESTIGATIONS, THERETO, TO HELP PROTECT LIFE AND PROPERTY NOT ONLY IN THAT AREA BUT THE ENTIRE GHANA.

Sam George, the member of parliament for Ningo Prampram, may have landed himself in trouble after he made unsubstantiated allegations against the US Accra embassy.

In a fiery Facebook post on Saturday, Sam George railed against what he called growing insecurity in the country - something he said was exemplified by unexplained deaths, robberies and contract killings.

To buttress his point, the MP claimed that the cancellation of a much-publicised trip to Ghana by boxing legend, Mayweather, was informed by insecurity in the country.

Sam George claimed that the US Accra embassy warned Mayweather to stay clear of Ghana because it was not safe to come. He went on to call for urgent prayers for Ghana to, according to him, reverse the security decline.

But in a response to Accra-based Class FM, the US Accra embassy denied Sam George's claim that it had asked Mayweather to stay clear of Ghana's-embassy.

The officer in charge of media affairs at the embassy, Sara Stealy, stressed that nothing like that had happened.

The embassy's response appears to have compelled Sam George to delete the post from Facebook, as it was no longer accessible at the time of reporting.

Contrary to the MP's claim, YEN understands that Mayweather cancelled his Ghana trip because he wanted to prepare for his upcoming bout against Mcgregor in August.

The boxing star has already announced that he will come to Ghana in September after the multi-million dollar bout with Mcgregor.

Samuel George Nartey, Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram, has observed that there is a growing sense of insecurity in Ghana at the moment.

This lack of safety, he said, had put fear in Ghanaians and foreign nationals, a situation that led to cancellation of the trip to Ghana by American boxer Floyd Mayweather Jnr, who was billed to be in Ghana yesterday, June 16.

In a post on his Facebook page on Saturday June 17, the lawmaker said: “There is a growing sense of insecurity in the country today. Robberies, contract killings, and unexplained deaths litter the news. It is so frightening we are becoming scared of our own shadows.

“This fact is amply evidenced by the cancellation of the visit of The Money Man Floyd Mayweather. The Money Team would as part of standard protocols engage the US Embassy in Ghana on the security situation in town. It is safe to conclude that the assessment by the Embassy was one of insecurity, prompting the cancellation.

“We need to pray for Ghana. I am reminded of the words of a senior man of God: ‘There is a sinister force on the prowl in our nation. It is a force of impunity. It is a force of treachery. It is a force of evil. To keep silent in such a situation is to allow evil to triumph.’"

Meanwhile Mayweather has disclosed his visit to Ghana and Nigeria will come off in autumn.

Can and should we trust customs? This is gargantuan greed. Is the Port their private business establishment or how can you use state uniform and position to dupe the state? I know there are individual CEPS officers who are clean and faithful to the state and these are the ones suffering in the system (being upstaged by the corrupt ones).
