##SOURCE: MYNEWSGH.COM ------ The much awaited report by the Kwesi Botchway committee has disclosed that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has a weak intellectual and research base indicating that this played a key role in the party’s defeat in the 2016 elections. According to the committee, the NDC needs to take steps to crowd the party with critical thinkers in order to make the NDC a better party.

They bribed chiefs and others with vehicles, houses, mattresses etc but the folks took the bribes and looked the other way. 2. Also they felt they had Charlotte on their side to call the election for them but Charlotte found out that the tsunami was too overwhelming to present any lies. 3. The NPP outsmarted them by having a well planned and executed collation center. In conjunction with the many radio stations and media houses also broadcasting results in realtime it was difficult for EC to massage the numbers. You could tell from the body language of the EC office during their press conference during the night that they had been outwitted. The government should insist on a root cause analysis of the breakdown at the EC and publish the report.

Yes the global wind of change favoured liberal democrats against social democrats,however there was this perception of Government appointees being babies with sharp teeth and not respecting their elders.Secondly the issue of corruption also became a source of concern.For me a irrespective of age a leader must be tough and forthright but the issue of small boys occupying positions is neither here nor there because the trend of leadership is changing in the whole world.Was ex-president kuffour not a minister at 27yrs and until recently there are now younger people around 23yrs in parliament.Your party should look out for such things when u bounce back to rule this country again.

What did you do as majority leader to help thendc campaign.
Didn't your people want to throw you out & the links of mahama intervened?!
After 12 or 26 years as mp what you achieved for your people if not your own self profit!!
Shut up.I know you won't be in parliament after the 2020 election.
NDC should concentrate on givingva credible opposition to the npp.
That's what is needed at this time.
