These legal power brokers are the cause of our woes. They twist the rules at will, and then, after the steam is off, the same people come back and tell us there was an error. They would not even bother to eplain clearly what was the error and who caused am! they just muddle the waters the more, knowing all too well that most of us are ignorant as far as legal matters are concerned, and would thus not have the inclination to question their conflicting decisions!

I will not like to be in the shoes of Justice Apau. He has suffered a disgrace which no one thought would come anytime this soon. Justice Apau decided to take the easy way long ago. He went against the law profession during the rough and tumble days of the revolution, by refusing to go along with the Ghana Bar Association boycott of the tribunals set up by the revolutionists. As a lone ranger operating outside the proper court system, he courted the attention of the shakers and movers of political power. Justice Apau came in handy when President John Mahama and the Ndc decided to drown Candidate Nana Addo in fecal matter. They found a willing hitman in Justice Apau. He did a great work for his paymasters, much more than the Ndc and President Mahama had expected. Justice Apau's report, portions of which dwelt on the main subject of the commission, Nana Addo, was a classic case of the devil, ready to thrust a poisoned arrow at a victim from his backside. For his hatchet job, Justice Apau got elevated to the Supreme Court by a company not fit to play cricket. One by one, the dirty opinions of Justice Apau will be expunged from the books and will stand naked in public.
