I have traveled the length and breadth of Ghana,I never knew Brong Ahafo has the most developed and beautiful towns in Ghana.-Berekum,Techiman,Dormaa,Sunyani,even villages in B/A are very by.

Early this year, I posted an article and suggested that Osagyefo Oseadeyo Nana Agyemang Badu of Dormaa and Otumfo Osei Tutu must think of celebrating durbar festivals as symbol of unity between Asantis and the Brongs. That should be a beginning of fostering strong bond between Akans and other ethnic groups. After all, all Akans have one father and one mother.

In fact, I can not describe how happy I was when I saw that picture between Asante King and Omanhene of Techiman This visit is long overdue among our chiefs. I commend Otumfo for this friendly and brotherly guesture I hope, Techimanhene will return this gesture by visiting.

Nana Osei Tutu, you are really a wise King. I hope this gesture won't be the last one. Extend it to other Brong chiefs. We need that unity among Akans, particularly Brongs and Asantis.

I know marriages are doing a lot to foster that unity and bond. There is inter-marriages between Asantis and Brongs. Why can't our chiefs also unite.

Nana Otumfo Osei Tutu, thank you very much. it is the beginning of a big thing to come.

I can give examples of traditional leaders even after all the book knowledge still being influenced by stone age fables to hate fellow chiefs of other tribes. May God richly bless you with more wisdom so your moves to grow unity will put such chiefs to shame. I bet a few copycats will try to emulate this noble action but the gloss wont be so bright because whilst you come across as an innovator they would look like sad copycats!!!

I commend Otumfour for smoking this peace pipe, the Bonos and the Ashanti kingdoms are brothers, only history separated these Akan kingdoms. All Akan states originates from Bono Manso, in search for gold the forefathers migrated southward and established new kingdoms. Techiman, Manso, Nkoranza all have archeological evidence of what I am writing about. Otumfour must help the Bonos to revive the Bono Kingdom in unity again.
