  This initiative if viable should come under the Ministry of Labour not the Ministry of Business Development which is solely for enabling business to survive through Policy and Regulatory Reforms.
  
  This is a clear attempt to create and loot!

  WHERE IS THE BEEF NPP? How does a government groom job creators? Did the US government groom Bill Gates or Steve Jobs? Our President is junketing world economic fora and touting his government's achievements in 5 months in cleaning up bottlenecks in the economy for investors to come in and invest. Really!!! Our President's lax managerial style has resulted in a country that is slothful and unproductive. The President is clueless of what is going on around him.
  
  Many advanced economies all over the world have used tax inducements in their fiscal policies to target a particular sector of the economy for foreign investment and job creation. This has never been the case in Ghana because there has never been a fiscal policy to begin with for present or past governments. The Ghana governments present and past do not know what fiscal policy is. Instead of using an efficacious fiscal policy to lure companies to set up in the country and provide jobs for the youth, Ghana's present and past governments rather use tax holidays by acts of Parliament to scheme off any prospects for these companies to invest in the country. How stupid is that?
  
  Singapore for instance has an array of tax incentives across many industry sectors aimed at attracting new foreign direct investment (FDI) into Singapore in targeted areas such as R&D, intellectual property ownership as well as industries including technology, petrochemical and clean technology. Has any government present or past come out with such incentives?
  
  There is no doubt our country is groping in darkness in our development efforts. We are not very bright people; we need smart people to lead us in our development efforts.

  The guys has a useless Ministry trying to create something for its existence.
  
  I doubt if it would get the money though. Somewhere by the end of the year Akuffo-Addo is likely to scrap this useless Ministry!

  kuffour created such funds, mills continued, and mahama finished it. only two (2) companies benefited. ask captain smart and he will tell you.
