Also they felt they had Charlotte on their side to call the election for them but Charlotte found out that the tsunami was too overwhelming to present any lies. 3. The NPP outsmarted them by having a well planned and executed collation center. In conjunction with the many radio stations and media houses also broadcasting results in realtime it was difficult for EC to massage the numbers. You could tell from the body language of the EC office during their press conference during the night that they had been outwitted. The government should insist on a root cause analysis of the breakdown at the EC and publish the report.

I'm strictly against all those who're calling the salary of the new CEO of COCOBOARD to be slashed. I'm wondering how do we honour our celebrate hard-working MDs and CEOs as a nation? For the fact that the former CEO, Opuni abused his office doesn't mean Ghanaians should demonize all others.

As a nation, we should handsomely reward or celebrate citizens who strive to achieve academic excellence, rather than victimize them. Rising to the top of the academic ladder isn't any easy thing.

I recall when the matter of finding the right pay for Coach Kwasi Appiah came up for discussion, many people, esp. NDC folks wanted peanuts for him. Some of us disagreed! Kwasi Appiah would have been paid GHc 8,000 as a full Coach of Black Stars. We seem to be cruel to our citizens who'd step up to accept national appointments.

Throughout the world, developed countries have always rewarded their sons and daughters handsomely for serving their nation. But strangely, gov't would be willing to pay an expatriate coach U.S. $50,000 or more, but decline to pay a Ghanaian coach a level of salary commensurate with the amount paid an expatriate. One would have thought that in this 21 Century, Ghanaians would learn some lessons. Hmmmm....!!!!

Sadly, it's not so in Ghana. People get rewarded by way of "chop make I chop" phenomenon, else..... Or it's either I have it or no-one has it, kind of attitude. It's very sad, to note.

The CEOs of CocaCola, GE, MicroSoft and Suncor's monthly take-home pay $60,000 or $720,000/annum, equiv. GHc 252,000 or GHc 3,02,000/annum. That's excluding incentives, which in most cases may run several millions, if the person in question meets targets set by the company.

We must begin to learn to appreciate efforts and values of our hard-working CEOs and reward them accordingly rather than listen to the cries of "riff-faffs" and "human scavengers" who refuses to see anything worth celebrating in our MDs and CEOs. It's about time we sought to honour our heroes.

Ghanaians complain about our Doctors, Nurses, Teachers and other Professionals leaving the shores of Ghana in search of "greener pastures" yet wouldn't want those who choose to stay behind to be rewarded handsomely for their efforts or services rendered to the nation. What kind of hypocrisy is that? I just wonder!

The right thing should have been for the position to be advertised for interested individuals to apply. Please stop politicising everything and put on a better lens free of bias and come up with something better for d country.Enough of these insults st one another.for Ghana to move forward we must learn to refrain from throwing arrows at each other and think of a party called GHANA and not those alphabet soups NDC, npp, CPP,abc and d rest that help bring nothing but divisions in d country. It is time some of these Ceo's who went to school abroad on d government dime give back to d state by being lenient on d state purse. The anual tuition from some of these Ivy league schools exceed $50.000, multiply that by four . All these paid for by d government.it is time they give back to society and not just take from .God bless you all.
