  There are two inevitables in life; death and taxes. As long as one lives one will die, and as long as one lives one will always pay taxes.
  
  The maniacal Ghanaian has held onto the former inevitable to the detriment of the later. In fact the maniacal Ghanaian loves his funeral and will skip work on Friday to celebrate the frivolous national pastime. But call upon this same maniacal Ghanaian to exercise his civic responsibility such as paying taxes then he frowns and in most cases skip town. Even those who call themselves Christians forget that Jesus once said, 'give unto Caesar what is Caesar's, and give unto God what is God's', when the Pharisees used taxes as a trap (Mark 12:14-17).
  
  The country's priorities are off the rails; instead of doing what brings prosperity and happiness, we pursue doom and gloom such as wasting precious time on frivolous funerals. In many civilized countries all it takes is a week for a person to die and be buried. But in a primitive culture such as ours, it takes months before internment and in the day of burial everything stops. Then we turn around ask why the country has not developed!

  My condolences to the family,but I think tbe truth must be told.Dr Josiah Aryeh of blessed memory has not been buried.An injunction was granted by the law court so the body is still at the mortuary.Pls check wit the family becos the service was held witout a single family member.A sister of the late Dr. nd her sons did the services illegally witout the family becos of their selfish interest.Pls Mr. Editor check the facts becos Dr.Josiah Aryeh is still in the mortuary.....
