  The blame should be put squarely on the doorstep of John Mahama and his NDC. They sent these daring NDC foot soldiers to Brazil with the promise they could be shipped to the US. Did the NDC government not know about these so-called immigrants. What did the NDC government do about it since 2014?

  THIS INVESTIGATION SHOULD HAVE BEEN CARRIED OUT BEFORE INVITING THE AMBASSADOR TO PARLIAMENT. NOW THAT HE HAS REFUTED ANY CLAIMS OF MALTREATMENT IN PARLIAMENT OF WHAT USE IS THIS FURTHER INVESTIGATION?

  EVERY CRIMINAL no matter what country is put in chains in USA.......and yes they were crooks ...over staying is an offence get the chip off your shoulder and get real .....,just stop being corrupt crooks

  You have time for unnecessary stuff. What is difficult about breaking American laws and been restrained on a chateted flight back home? Illegaks all over the world are been deported, so what is special about Ghanaians. This borders on lack of thinking skills. Most of us are here undisturbed by all this because we took the right path to legalize. Teach your people to stay in school, learn science, math and engineering skills: America will come begging for them not your unemployed and labourers. We have 6.5 million job openings in artificial intelligence, medicine and computer science. America is looking for people to fill not labourer jobs. Useless non thinking mps.

  What use is this meeting going to come to? These grown individuals by their own volition left the shores of Ghana, most went on to claim asylum in the USA, based on salacious and denigratory lies against the nation state of Ghana, and brought the name of the country in disrepute.
  When their wishful and intentional acts did not go their way, they refused to leave othe USA on their own volition resulting in their forced removal, and we are crying foul?
  We Ghanaians need to understand that as opposed to the lawlessness in our attitude and national affairs, other countries take lawlellness seriously, with hard consequences ie ---forced deportation, imprisonment etc where necessary.
  Parliament better pay attention to curb on-going lawlessness in Ghana and other issues facing Ghana instead of glorifying lawlessness by entertaining these law-breaking deportees.
  I guess our parliamentarians would rather be showing their "good-face" as weaklings in the face of upholding the law by courting these deportees, instead of seeing to the mandate of ensuring our socio-economic development and security, which they find difficult to tackle.
  I have nothing against the deportees, but let us as a nation call a spade a spade instead of being our usual ostrich self,---burying our heads in the sand as always.

  What do you expect to hear from them. Any way, parliament has nothing doing. Why can't we just have 30 MPs who can debate and pass our laws?
