But why are you worried over this small job from a "friendly foe"? It is the human rights records of that country that make some people not to be enthused of our President going to the Kaunda's beloved country. The President's hands are so dirty with human rights abuse, it is alleged. If this allegation holds water, then my former teacher might be of the persuasion that the President of Zambia's hands could be so dirty that ours with clean and incorruptible hands could be stained such that washing it in cleanest of rivers in Ghana would make that river black with dirt, with due apologies to Shakespeare in Macbeth (?)

Green schools, education for sustainable development, environmental education, nature education, and farm-to-school movement can be found in UK, Canada, US, Japan, Germany, Singapore, Sweden, & Indonesia, but here we are in Ghana with our minister talking about spending $200 million to renovate our schools.

The ambassadors & High Commissioners from the countries that are having great successes with nature-based education, should share their achievements with us.

We cannot go on indefinitely alienating our children from the natural world. Hope the bump into President would change BECE into nature-based education.
