Where is Gabby Otchere Darko. This guy, who has never worked in his life but live fat on the coffers of the NPP, has managed for eight years to have an unchallenged stranglehold on the NPP, a party, which claims to have “brainy” and “forthright” followers.

Otchere Darko has systematically but effectively silenced all dissenting voices within the NPP. Today what this guy says or thinks becomes the bond of the NPP. Who therefore are you to dare or cross Otchere Darko’s path without getting burnt?

And we have the so-called NPP gurus or intellectuals who daily preach democracy from their roof tops all cowed and shivering in their tails afraid to counter this destructive element called Otchere Darko. Sometimes I wonder how Gabby Otchere Darko was able to do it!

If the above story is true, then it is a disappointment from the president and unethical. It is highly unacceptable to appoint Your Baby's Mama as ambassadors in your government when we have a democracy. It is very wrong to also appoint family members into sensitive positions in your government(though not all members mentioned here are his family members and cousins as alleged. Some happen to have the same name with him which is not uncommon in Ghana. For example Nyantakyi of GFA bears an Akan name but he is from Upper West region)
Let NPP remember that if Mahama made such appointments, his name would be in the mud all over. If such baby mother's appointments are true, then the earlier he revokes them, the better, NPP should not support nepotism and cronyism.

The above only tells one that the embassy is not situated in the capital as expected or seen in many countries, including Ghana, but in Turkey's second, but largest city called Istanbul, hence the description ISTANBUL-TURKEY vividly before all. If the source had mention just Istanbul, then you have a case, but that is not the case here. So, what is your beef with the name of the location where the embassy is actually situated in the country called Turkey? By the way, shouldn't your moniker be Oppong-London instead? Hmmmmmmmm!

If you consider being given positions in government as a means to become rich, then I understand the writer but if it is service to Ghana of which they would be accountable to Ghana, then why the noise. I think the writer may be projecting his own thoughts of seeing government appointments as means of fleecing Ghana, hence his difficulty. Secondly, in terms of those appointees educational qualifications and background, they are all highly educated. So, under the circumstance, why should they be disenfranchised from holding public office simply because they have some personal relationship with President Nana Akuffo-Addo?. That, does not make sense. Lastly, it is within Nana's Presidential authority to appoint or hire people he wants to work with as long as those people have the educational qualification and are honestly willing to work for Nana.
