  I think this winner takes all attitude in Ghana politics is what is the route cause of these brouhahas in the appointments of DCEs etc. Individuals think these appointments are the gateway to riches so they tend to support their partners in crime. I know instances where assembly members are bribed to support a particular candidate. Please change this law and let the appointment committee of parliament vet all appointees as is done in the case of ministers. There are too many illiterates and idiots at the district level. Many of them do not understand the workings of a government. Enough is indeed enough.
