These presidents and other government officials travel distances and spend countless hours attending funerals, almost every week. If travelling to another country is important to them, there shouldn't be any grumbling. Let them just get their drivers to take them there. I doubt if the US Embassy staff will be unprofessional as to delay issuing visa to any of the ex-Presidents.

We are all aware of Mahama's short comings and that is why Ghanaians rejected him.We are not going to allow Foreign Officials to have direct control over our leaders in this manner.We have shown the world that we reject corruption and are able to deal peacefully with corrupt leaders.This Policy is just designed to humiliate us and tame us.There have been loud whispers that Ghanaians have become too mouthy,opiniated and rather undiplomatic in our comments.Some of our leaders like Ablakwa and company made it a point to publicly voice their opposition to Jon Benjamin when he exposed the fraudulant ex Ministers.There are consequences and price for big mouthism.This is just a way to humiliate us and remind us who is really in charge.To put us in our place so to speak.My advise is to take it on the chin and move on.This Ambassador and administration won't be in power forever.We should continue to deepen our ties with friends around the world and may be upgrade our relationship with America once again when they start treating us like friends again.

Now China has virtually not overtaken the West, but the rest of the world combined.

They are teaming up with India so that in the next ten to fifteen years, these 2 power houses of Asia will be unstoppable.

Who can stand in your way with visas.

This country does not have anything worthy of substance to show about to the rest of the world.

Enter any supermarket and 98% of the items are imported, the 2% are products from multinational companies with branches in Ghana 1. Fan Ice Cream 2. Coca Cola 3. Club Products etc etc.

Are we really a serious nation?

I recently watched a documentry only last month from BBC on Ghana, and the only authentic product of interest to the rest of the world are the coffins from Paa Joe , a carpenter at Teshie.

We have to back to basics and ask ourselves the fundamental question what this country has achieved in 60 years.

The answer is negative 60%, considering the resources we have at hand.

A whole country's thinking is whether ex-presidents' should queue at the US EMBASSY for visa.
