Now China has virtually not overtaken the West, but the rest of the world combined.

They are teaming up with India so that in the next ten to fifteen years, these 2 power houses of Asia will be unstoppable.

Who can stand in your way with visas.

This country does not have anything worthy of substance to show about to the rest of the world.

Enter any supermarket and 98% of the items are imported, the 2% are products from multinational companies with branches in Ghana 1. Fan Ice Cream 2. Coca Cola 3. Club Products etc etc.

Are we really a serious nation?

I recently watched a documentry only last month from BBC on Ghana, and the only authentic product of interest to the rest of the world are the coffins from Paa Joe , a carpenter at Teshie.

We have to back to basics and ask ourselves the fundamental question what this country has achieved in 60 years.

The answer is negative 60%, considering the resources we have at hand.

A whole country's thinking is whether ex-presidents' should queue at the US EMBASSY for visa.

We have lost our focus, period.

Take the way Rawlings made himself power and untouchable during his time plus his wife attitude towards ordinary people. They were both warlords and untouchable. Hence why many in Ghana pretend to like Rawlings and his wife but behind closed door hate them.There is no humility in African Presidents . They come into their post penniless but ensure that they loot their country;s state worth for their own selfish gains. I am laughing all the way to the bank re the new rules at the US embassy. There are people here in Ghana who have never been to the United States before yet they have made it in life and are living happily here in Ghana than the embassador who went to parliament to spew the garbage. There are people loiving in America who cannot afford one meal a day and living in abject poverty so they should stop behaving as if all is well in the US and that everybody want to go there. Apuuu! Americans ve the right to even refuse us visas to their country let alone who applies,the point really is that their policies apply only when we reject them,one time they refused to renew the visa of a sitting agric minister Kwasi Arhoi during Atta Mills time,today our Supreme Court has ruled against gitmo 2 and policies begins to role out at the US embassy.The should expose all government officials who steal our money and hide it in their country,re they using it as blackmail to get our top officials to accept whatever they push down their throats like gitmo 2? If not help us stop corruption in Africa if only you fear and trust in God as the motto of America.
