When Kwaku Baako informed us about the atrocities of Kwesi Pratt during PNDC Regime, some of us did not believe until the truth was confirmed during the NRC. Kwesi Pratt is the most dangerous Journalist Ghana had ever have, he had the gut to recommend his fellow journalists to be executed by PNDC. Pratt even recommended Baako to be killed by the regime, thank God Baako was instead touchered violently and severely but his life was spared. This is what Kwesi Pratt can do. Now Pratt is a secret agent to NDC and US Embassy in Ghana. May God forgive Pratt and spare him the untold evils that will come upon him and his generations. The souls of those journalist killed through Pratt's recommendations to PNDC will never forgive Pratt. Now Pratt has the guts to take Diplomatic Passport and smuggled his weak-headed children to work at the Ministries under Mills NDC, may God forgive Pratt and his dependance and spare them of the evils ahead of them...

Have they done the careful assessment to determine that 8000 more Officers will be adequate to offer Ghanaians 24 hour police services?We will not accept 20 hours or even 23 hours.We need 24 hour police services in ALL parts ...

Have they done the careful assessment to determine that 8000 more Officers will be adequate to offer Ghanaians 24 hour police services?We will not accept 20 hours or even 23 hours.We need 24 hour police services in ALL parts of the country.This must not be a "show" force or Accra force or the tradition report officers.We want real police officers to take control of our country to root out the armed robbers on our roads,secure our children's schools from armed attackers and our communities from criminals.We expect a clear set of educational,medical and physical requirement for recruits and will not accept any NDC style recruitment frauds.The Police depot system could be revived.This will be where the government provided accomodations and other services such as clinics and schools in a Police village or depot for new entrants or any Officer who needed it.Part of their salaries are held to pay for these services.Ghana must start using our resources wisely to build institutions that contribute to our security and development.

Hon Minister,it is laudable to increase the Police numbers by adding some 8000 more.I most respectfully beseech your government that if the intention is to combat violent crime which is on the increase,if the intention is to help the Ghanaian people with young and energetic police officers who can be deployed for operational duties at the spell of the moment,then you have to discard the notion of recruiting more ladies into this work.

These girls are afraid of holding weapons,they are afraid to accept posting to conflict prone zones.They come and get pregnant in quick successions thereby having little time for work.These girls give lazy excuses to avoid being assigned operational assignments.

Please don't do Ghana a disservice by engaging more than 1000 ladies out of the intended 8000 to recruit.
