I understand your problem, you have a big one. It is unfortunate, to the dim-witted, when people speak intelligently about issues, they are often tagged as arrogant. The money is certainly not free. In Parliament however the minority cannot do foco, because the sheer numbers of the NPP Parliamentarians will bulldoze their way through even though it was this very Bawumia who took President Mahama's NDC to task for piling up debts for the nation. Indeed, he used that to gain cheap Political points and I am very surprised that NDC Economists are not taking the NPP to task for further pushing up the debts of the nation.

The NDC sore losers are jealous because they've realized that the NPP is more attractive to the world community than their criminal organization. Whiles John Mahama and his NDC always carried their pan running around the world begging for loans and alms, the NPP is rather invited to come for the loans on flexible terms. The NPP has brought our credit ratings to a positive note in less than five months in office : something that NDC couldn't achieved in eight years. Hurray!!!!!!!!!

Too many loans. Too much corruption. The country leaders have yet to prove their dedication to Ghana. $15b is a lot that will complete the Railroads, provide every village a school, and complete an automobile assembly plant.

When the NDC took Ghana debt load from 10 billion to a whopping 120 billion in 8 short years, they had no tears for mother Ghana, but now they are crying big tears. At least we know Nana Akufo-Addo and Dr. Bawumia are not corrupt, and this $15 billion will bring factories and transportation as well as employment to our people.

You okes in NDC dont understand the mechanism of borrowing. NDC borrowed to share and not to create form of economic activity that will bring dividends. Even if NPP borrow ten times the amount borrowed byNATIONAL DEMONIC CONGRESS and utilise them in commercially viable activities like the factories, dams, education, etc, the unemployment problem will be solved, there will be income from such activities to repay the loans.
For your information, NATIONAL DEMONIC CONGRESS were borrowing $250m every month in 2016 to pay salaries, and the rest for electioneering fraud. This was what was detested by any thinking ghanaian.
By 2006 Brazil had borrowed more than any country but used it judiciously and are now the leader in ethanol export. About 90% of the US funds are borrowed but are used in creating economically viable activities. If you visit ghana commercial bank and borrows money for planting cocoa or engaging in a meaningful business, it will never be an albatross around your neck except if you use it for frivolous activities. Reason up guys.

I hope the mineral mines of Ghana are not sold off to the Chinese as premise for these loans. All activities in the country by any foreign company should be on joint-venture terms, with the government owing 50 % of any mining activity. The annual profits by such companies are where the funds can be generated. No need to take loans quite frankly. In China, no foreign company is allowed to establish business there without undergoing joint-venture with a local company or the like.I hope the mineral mines of Ghana are not sold off to the Chinese as premise for these loans. Every pesewa of this $15 billion Chinese deal would have to be accounted for, including how the fund would be used. Gone are the days when our loan stocks went unchecked, thus fostering corruption upon corruption.
