I have monitored several comments from both perceived NDC supporters and seemingly staunch NPP fanatics on the interview granted by Hon. Sly Mensah on starchart. I must admit that Ghana has really lost its core values. Social media certainly is taking away the shine Africa, and especially Ghana use to have when it comes honoring not only honorable people but the elderly. Politics and political free speech has even worsen it. I have seen words like kwasia, thief, fool, idiot etc used on a noble man, by men who are yet to discover their own feet and stands in their nuclear family. People who can hardly read a contract and comprehend. And people who can hardly win any debate on their own without becoming abusive. All of these ones, sane enough by their own assessment have attempted to reduce Hon. Sly to nothing using mostly unprinted language. But truth be told, the personality you saw, Hon. Sly has long developed a thick skin for such idiocy and unjustifiable attacks. He has a tolerance threshold I am yet to see exhibited by a lot of people in this game. I can only pray for the souls of such ones who think that by the mere fact that you reduce a man to nothing, you as well have control over his destiny. When some elements in the NDC intensified the mockery and insults of a certain Nana Addo, that was when God decided to elevate him, otherwise great cake and the circumstances surrounding it was enough to have shattered a childhood dream if same could change destiny. May Hon. Sly continue to serve as an inspiration to the many youth that looks up to him. As for NHIA and the several public opinion, let's wait for a competent Nana government to set up an investigation into his stewardship if people still fail to get the explanation. But I can solidly say it will be a waste of the tax payers money. Forget not that before all the machinations, IMANI GHANA and many international bodies have long saw the good in his stewardship and duly commended him. We shall get there and God will speak
