The woes and current state of NHIA was created by Sylvester Mensah when he employed party footsoldiers left right centered into irrelevant positions with fat fat salaries. When his nephew Daniel was put on pay roll whiles doing his national service. When people like Perry Nelson, Adelaide Bonatal without degree were given directorship positions. When his girl friends like Pearl Nkrumah were given snr manager. When Atiah was able to employ over hundred people into the scheme with salaries higher than the old and experience staff where their appointment letters were backdated for more than six months. Where scanners were bought with inflated cost yet they were not used. Therefore the uncontrolled administration cost under his watch had led to the current situation
