  You build them modern markets and Malls and they still want to sell on the streets and infront of Malls and Markets.The Interior Minister should work with various regional leaders to have the police strictly enforce this backward behaviour.If they arrest any hawkers infront of Stores,Malls,shopes and markets their products must be confiscated and fined.And NO they must not be allowed to carry on their heads to sell in the Malls either.These anti social and destabilizing behaviour must be stopped.Akuffo Addo need to bring into government more strong leaders with courage and vision who can help him transform Ghana.Duffour,Nduom,Amidu,Konadu,Tsikata and Greenleaf are some of the names that raedily comes to mind.We need all hands on deck to help change the direction and negative culture of our people.

  The whole city of Accra needs this type of action in order to keep the city clean. Trees should also be planted in order to keep temperatures down in the city. All unauthorized structures must go.

  They are standing infront of a place to conduct their business!They can rent a store space in the mall and pay taxes just like everybody else.Why is the government responsible for getting them store space?If they can't afford the space in the mall then they can go for a spacxe ina market.Sidewalk and street hawking is not only dangerous but uncivilized nad must be stopped.I have faith in the Accra Mayor and I know that he will act on it.

  sack them all, blame NDC for these mess. pure retribution since the Accra mall was deem NPP mall. The government collects VAT in the malls and the Hawks leaves a mess which VAT money is then used to clean it up. Ghanamna open ...

  Who is stopping them from making a living?The government at a huge cost to the country has renovated two markets in Accra and built several Malls where you can lease a space to conduct your business.Why must we allow a few lawless ones to conduct their business anywhere they want while others pay for stores and stalls?It is the same mentality which makes people in Accra build an 8 bedroom house with no accomodations for toilet.This must be stopped.
