When you were given the opportunity to lead lead a big party, you never showed any signs of being the son of someone who had been sacrificed for the nation. You assumed the position of a know all have all. You never for once dreamt you could be stripped of your high position. Your utterances were total abhorrence.
If you had humbled yourself just a little bit, you would have created a big following of sympathisers which could have propelled you into a position you could have used to demand justice for your dad and his colleagues. But know, pride derailed your fortunes. We hope you learnt a good lesson. Next time, watch out and know that the same people you will meet descending down the ladder when you are climbing upwards would be the ones you will meet when you are descending!

Before the revolution of both the 1979 and 1981 led by Rawlings there was a STRIKE case that took place at GIHOC at Tema where the military officer Major Acquah who was the head of GIHOC got involved. This court case involving the GIHOC workers versus GIHOC management headed by Major Acquah and these 3 judges were the judges who sat on the case and their judgement demanded that the striking workers should be sacked.

It was this time of the case that some of the aggrieved workers who were not satisfied with the decision took the law Into their hands and revenged after many years that the case was over. Major Acquah who was then the head of GIHOC supported the judgement of the 3 judges.

Amartey Kwei who was a stromg labour activist in the strike at GIHOC was offended and years later during the PNDC era joined it and revenged of the judgement taken against them. He used his influence in the PNDC to carry out his revenge of which many people due to politics failed to realize of the facts in regard to the court judgement and how he Amartey Kwei lost his job and all entitlements after many years of service.

Agyekum knows of the case so he should not pretend and draw others into the death of the 3 judges and major Acquah. The Rawlings administration were not responsible that was why Amartey Kwei WHO DID IT WAS EXECUTED. Those who want to know can know, and this is it. Although some of us would not agree with Amartey Kwei's action yet he felt the judges and the major were partial against them the workers.

And I don't think it was right for him to order for the killings of the judges just because he was fired and lost everything if that is the case them there shouldn't be any court at all because if you are sent to court and you are proven guilty and you wait for a time to get the chance to kill judges then the judges are not safe?then what type of a nation are we building? I see it he did that out of hate because that regime was full of hate for successful Ghanaians and that hate and enviness had eating too deep into the fibers of the ndc party which make them hate every Ghanaian who is not ndc. I don't think all 3 sat on Amartei Kwei's case because High court has only 1 judge so I don't know how the others hot involved.

I seriously condemn the gruesome murder of these judges.This was barbaric.However,we must remember that those times were rough and chairman Rawlings did not have full control over certain people.He was the head.Yes.So,it is only normal for us to lay the blame at his doorsteps.That does not mean he Rawlings was personally responsible for the gruesome murders.What baffles me is that for 35yrs, we have been crying and complaining and yet people are not coming with concrete evidence to help us unravel the mystery surrounding the murders.Rawlings and Tsikata were hauled before the supreme court during JAK's tenure as president to answer questions on this issue.What became of that?But then,can anyone tell me the meaning of the 'Indemnity' clause in our constitution?Why must people be left off the hook for crimes they committed against humanity?Why did we review the constitution and did not strike out that clause?We are hypocrites.Talking an talking and talking and yet not provide concrete evidence and pushing for justice for these slain intellectuals whose only crime was that they did their job without fear.Some of us need to be educated here.What case was pending before these judges prior to their murder?We should start from there.Which people had their interest threatened by the astute nature of these judges.Did the judges threaten the revoulution and if yes,in which way?After all, they certainly would not have been the only ones on the bench who would have gotten some dissenting views concerning the revolution.Why were they singled out.Lets remember that a retired military officer was also killed.Please,do not let us rush here.It is possible some people had some scores to settle with these people prior to the advent of the revolution and got the opportunity to sort out their grievances when the coup came.So,let go back and do a little investigations.Where is SIB report on the issue?Where can we find the original investigative report by the SIB on the issue?Who has it?We cannot just sweep this issue under the carpet and say "oh its ok".Nonsense.What is ok?On this issue, I beg to differ with Rawlings.Even if he had no hand in the murder, he was in the position of knowing those who did it.
