We must learn to acquaint ourselves with the implications of such legal rigtness, otherwise,we may soke ourselves deep into uncontrolable hot waters sometimes hence.With pictures of the dellapidated houses built by Tema Development corporation far back in Nkrumah,s erra without refabishment, probably for the whole lif time it was built,might take lives of the occupants any time possible.Have the people heard of the 24 Flat storey Building which got into flames in London a few weeks ago and claimed the lives of 80 people\.It would be better for you to sleep in Tenthouses until major maintenance works have been carried out to be suitable for re occupation than loosing your precious lives.

Kaiser Flats in Tema have been one of the best flats in Ghana. Very beautiful and splendid. However, the flats built by Kaiser Engineers, who solely built the famous Akosombo Dam, the Tema Harbour and famous Kwame Nkrumah Accra-Tema Motorway left the country many years ago. I wish they could come back to do the renovation of their buildings. At the moment the dilapidated flats are no longer safe for human occupation. They have to be renovated any way and of course. The occupants must know that their lives are in danger as the famous flats could collapse any moment from now. They have to coperate with the government so that the buildings are renovated as quickly as possible for their own safety. Live and let us live.

I lived and grew up staying Kaiser Flat and can attest to the weak and dilapidated nature of the the flats. no amount of renovation can save the flats, they have to be pulled down and rebuilt.The flats pose imminent danger to those living there and pedestrian and traders who ply their trade around that area. Yes its painful but a very necessary action by the authorities. If other countries like Germany are ejecting tenants from cladded buildings which are not weak but just because of a fire that occurred in London then we should stay praise our authorities for doing a great job. To the novice, every legal tenant was given land free of charge at either community 12, 13, 14 to build their own houses about 20 years ago.
