  As a youngster I remember- saw it with my own two eyes- an Osagyefo administration-initiated biggest palm plantation at Asuboi.
  It was in the corridor between Nsawam and Suhum on the Accra- Kumasi highway.
  It was touted then as Ghana's entra into the global palm oil market.
  And, then just like that it was " Gone with the Wind" with Osagyefo's overthrow- aided and abetted by our own kind
  
  Am just thinking out loud here what happened to that plantation?
  
  Gosh...how we've missed out as a global player with the overthrow of Nkrumah.
  Had he been allowed to live long and ruled long - Lee Kuan Yew of Singapor, 38 years, rule comes to mind - and with his vision of a self- sustaining economy, undergirded by the GIHOCs of his economic plan - Ghana would have been Shangri- La by now.
  
  Very sad, knowing what Ghana could have been.
  
  The country is picking up the pieces, though, and thank God it's an administration which mirrors that of Osagyefo.
  The symbolism,the patriotism, the smarts, the pride, the hope - one can't miss that.
  It's just like a re-birth of Osagyefo - "Denali"- the Great One- if you pinch me.
  
  So, let us all pray for NADA-A and Alhaji Dr.Bawumia's administration and let's all get on board, regardless of our political and economic ideology.
  Their success is our success and it's for our children and our children's children.
  And, that success will also prove without any contradiction, that "after all, the blackman is capable of taking care of his own affairs."
  It's the real McCoy...
  
  The rest- in the interregnum, and you know who they were- were all saboteurs - stabbed Ghana in the back - of Pan African's jewel in the crown of nations.
  Let us all pray that their kind never, ever worm themselves back into Ghana's political domain.

  My brother,@kobina try and do a little research about the palm oil industry and it benefits on the environment us well as economic life and stop behaving like a demon poses politician.
